Meet Shane

Shane Beard was born on June 14, 1993, in Severn, Maryland, the youngest of two boys in a tight-knit, all-American family. In 2004, his family relocated to Seaford, Delaware, where he quickly fell in love with the slower pace of life and strong community roots.

From an early age, Shane was drawn to music. Singing was more than just a hobby — it was a dream. At just 12 years old, he and a few friends formed a metal cover band, playing local bars around Seaford and laying the foundation for a lifelong love of live performance. After high school, he chased that dream by auditioning for both American Idol and The Voice. Though he didn’t make it through, the experience fueled his fire and deepened his drive.

In 2017, Shane’s voice took center stage when he won The Delmarva Voice, an a cappella competition that showcased his raw talent and vocal range. Just a year later, he took home the title at Eastern Shore Idol, a karaoke contest in Salisbury, Maryland — proving his ability to win hearts in any crowd. Today, Shane is living out his dream. He’s signed with Fully Focused and is actively working on new music with an incredible band — featuring his father on bass, his childhood friend Gilberto on drums (the same bandmate from those early metal days), and longtime friends Chad and Trent on guitar. Together, they’re crafting a sound that’s rooted in passion, history, and heart.

Offstage, Shane is a proud husband to his high school sweetheart, Kayla, and a devoted father to their two beautiful children, Lilliana and Kayne.
